Unlike the purely washed-pink look of some early Chinese or Japanese Fujis, SA Fujis boast a distinct, rustic bi-color appearance that indicates direct exposure to cold mountain air and brilliant South African sunshine.

• Skin & Appearance: They typically feature a vibrant, striated red blush overlaid on a warm yellow-green background. The yellow hue is often concentrated around the stem cavity.  

• Taste Profile: Extremely low in acidity with a highly concentrated, honeyed sweetness. They regularly hit a solid sugar level of 14° to 16° Brix.

• Flesh & Texture: The interior flesh is an elegant creamy ivory-white. It is dense, highly juicy, and delivers a satisfying, clean, crisp snap rather than a soft, pillowy chew.
